Tara Reid was born November 8, 1975, in New Jersey, with roots that are
Irish, French, Hungarian, English, and Italian. Armed with only a
girl-next-door look, she started out as a talented five-year old who
sang and danced at a local mall, where she caught the eye of a Big Apple
talent agent. This led to stints in a children's game show (Child's
Play, 1982) and commercials for the likes of Jell-O and McDonalds.
After attending a Professional Children's School in NYC, with classmates
MaCaulay Culkin, Ben Taylor, and Jerry O'Connell, she was cast in the TV
teen show, "Saved By the Bell." She quickly moved up to "Days of Our
Lives" and found a few roles in "Cruel Intentions", "Urban Legends", and
in "The Big Lebowski". Finally, she acquired a role in the low-brow but
popular 1999 teen romp, "American Pie", as the character, Vicky Latham.
After a few minor roles in minor movies and the star-studded disaster,
"Dr. T and the Women", she caught a role in "Josie and the Pussycats" in
2001, followed by "American Pie 2", and co-starred with Ashton Kutcher
in the 2003 film, "My Boss's Daughter". The clock is ticking as Tara's
teen persona ages and she awaits a major role that could give her the
