Jaimes start out as attractive teens who inevitably find an easy path into
modeling. They conquer the world of fashions and commercials with the
greatest of ease, but they are inherently discontented by the mindlessness
of the model who merely struts her stuff on the catwalk or who sits astride
a car in her bathing suit. They have brains and discipline and a strong
desire to let the world in on the secret. It is not so much a desire to be
adulated by millions, but to prove to the unbelievers that surround them
constantly that their potential is greater than it appears.
Jaimes always move on to what is bigger and better, which ultimately means
television and feature films. But, here in the new world, they become
restricted by the limited imagination of producers and directors who are
plugging them into roles that demand a pretty face and attractive physique. They
have to fight hard to be given a chance to perform beyond what is
expected of them. Their unforgettable screen performances usually get
them the fans and the bargaining power to demand more challenging roles.
