With the 6th year of McDonalds hockey, the company tried again to impress the fans with another dud like the previous year. The cards were thick, heavy, and boring, especially the "Full Motion Video" cards. There was nothing special to write home about, unless you consider the gold foil packs attractive. For the most part, it didn't matter, because all McDonalds hockey issue sells out fully. In that way, they were successful for the company. But unless, they turned the tide, they risked running into a bad year even with the fans. The next year would change that.
